Cue the tools out there to help, such as the Doc to Form add-on, that allow you to transition smoothly from Word documents or PDFs to Google Workspace files.
However, many of the resources we use and download are still PDFs and Microsoft Word documents despite Google’s climb up the ladder. In the education world, up until the last ten years or so, it was a Microsoft world… until Google Workspace (formerly G Suite for Education) emerged and really helped to transform the education and teaching world. I have tried completely uninstalling office 365, deleting all its folders and content, and re installing. Things to keep in mind: the problem is not with any of the documents, they open and work fine on other computers and even on google docs. (every time i click the equation button word stops responding)
I always used the mathematical equations in word under for all sorts of assignments, but recently every time I have run into a few major problems:ġ-old and new documents (in 2016 format) saved on other computers and transferred to mine via usb/email only open the first page(despite being up to 20 pages long), and any equations on the first page turn into small boxes and other random symbolsĢ- No new equations can be inserted, even on newly opened, blank documents. I'm a year 12 student and use word 2016 on a daily basis, I have a shared office 365 account with my family.
